Chemical Methods is focused on solving customer problems. Sometimes this takes us in very interesting directions. Years ago we were approached by customers using plasma cutters and asked to help solve corrosion problems in the water tables and the work pieces. We developed two products: one for oxy-fuel and another for nitrogen. In addition to stopping corrosion damage, these products inhibit bacteria growth. Also, the product developed for cutting systems fueled by nitrogen gas contains an additive that helps reduce the emission of nitrous oxide gases that are undesirable in the work environment.
	As we got to know our plasma cutting customer base we learned that they had other problems in addition to corrosion. We charged our product development team to create products to solve these special customer problems and now have a complete family of Water Table Products as outlined below.
	Water Table Corrosion Inhibitors to stop corrosion of the work piece and the water table. Welding Anti-Spatter to prevent the weld spatter from adhering to metal surfaces. Water Table Dyes to effectively filter visible infrared and ultraviolet light rays. Water Table Anti-Freeze to reduce the temperature at which the fluid in the water table will freeze.
